Cake Pops (balls)

So, here goes another cake ball/pop adventure.  I've refrained from posting much about my experiments because they've been just that...experiments. Apparently though, I'm not the only one who enjoys them because quite a few people have asked for the recipe.  Read on to see how I created these little morsels of goodness. Cake Pops

For a while now, I've been trying my hand at cake balls/cake pops. I've made several different combinations but none of them turned out as crazy as these so I'm finally ready to share some images.  Beware...and enjoy!

Who doesn't love a good Peep show?

Ingredients: White box cake, whipped cream icing, sprinkles, Peeps and most importantly, time and love. :)

Individual Fruit Pizzas

I'm sure many of you have a favorite sugar cookie recipe so if you have one, feel free to substitute. I found this one online and made these for a baby shower and they were so yummy.  I used flower and butterfly cookie cutters and then used the fruits to decorate them. I used the sliced strawberries for butterfly wings and kiwis for centers of flowers with blueberries for petals. Cute and tasty.

Homemade pudding

Just like my mom made. :)  No instant pudding here folks, be prepared to use a pot on the stove but it's well worth it!

Oreo Cookie Pie

The name says it all.  Or, just call it Bridget's favorite.  OK, it's mine too.  Quite tasty but of course, my favorite cookies are Oreos so I guess it's no surprise.  I've found this recipe makes a bit more than a 9" pie, so I like to make a smaller version for the kids.  This ensures they get some in case the guests eat all the dessert!
