Dierbergs Spinach Dip Copycat Recipe

I hosted a gathering and had a ton of leftover fresh spinach. After using it in omelettes, on pizzas and in salads, I decided it was time to use a lot of it in a spinach dip - who wouldn't? After wrestling with the decision of a warm versus a cold spinach dip, I remembered always loving Dierbergs cold spinach dip so I went searching for the recipe online.  I could find the nutritional value of the dip purchased at Dierbergs, but not the recipe. So, I found this recipe and modified it some (it didn't seem just right)...and also found instructions for using fresh spinach in a dip. Enjoy!

Cake Pops (balls)

So, here goes another cake ball/pop adventure.  I've refrained from posting much about my experiments because they've been just that...experiments. Apparently though, I'm not the only one who enjoys them because quite a few people have asked for the recipe.  Read on to see how I created these little morsels of goodness. Thanks? to @ohlivianne for getting me hooked on making these. I expect she will be helping me with my exercise plan!

Normally, I post only about food but I had to share this one because 'tis the season.  We took third place in our office Halloween contest for our HootSuite team costume!

Then, we submitted our mugs to Mashable and HootSuite and they posted it also:

Thanks to my SM buds @lathurm(Twitter), @aftonspriggs (Facebook) for getting silly with me!

Cake Pops

For a while now, I've been trying my hand at cake balls/cake pops. I've made several different combinations but none of them turned out as crazy as these so I'm finally ready to share some images.  Beware...and enjoy!

Beef Stroganoff

This one is tried and true, for more years now than I care to recollect.  My family never tires of this home-cooked, comfort food. Sure warms up the soul.
